Our Mission

At Hope For Joy International Ministry, we believe every child deserves the opportunity for a Christ-centered education and a life filled with hope. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans worldwide by providing holistic support that meets their spiritual, physical, emotional, and educational needs. Through our outreach, we aim to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and foster environments where each child can grow, thrive, and experience the love and joy of God.

Vision Statement

At Hope For Joy International Ministry, we provide food, clothing, and a safe refuge for children without parents or homes. Our mission is to support orphaned girls ages 5 to 18 through long-term recovery programs and stable housing. Currently, our facility shelters approximately 20 to 30 girls, where they receive compassionate care and resources for a brighter future.

Nancy Thezan

As the founder and visionary of Hope For Joy Intl Ministry Corp., I am a woman after God's heart, a mother of five, and a wife to a pastor. I am also a teacher and chef by trade, drawing on these experiences to nurture and guide our ministry. Over the years, I have traveled across various cities and countries in Africa, counseling and supporting countless children, who have lovingly called me the ‘Mother of Nations.’

At Hope For Joy, our mission extends beyond providing food and shelter; we work to bring healing and hope to those facing life-controlling challenges, particularly the pain and homelessness that often feel inescapable. My passion is to create places of grace where men, women, and children can find healing, support, and empowerment to break the cycles of hardship.

For over eight years, our outreach has focused on addressing the underlying issues that lead to homelessness and despair—both here in America and abroad. My deepest aim is to walk alongside the hurting and the needy, helping them to find strength and new beginnings in God's love.
